About the event

Drawing repertoire from jazz & swing standards, trad. jazz, bebop, blues, new orleans style music and more, The Swan River Ramblers combine a wealth of performance experience, with instrumental virtuosity and a keen sense of spontaneity. For an evening of great jazz that is guaranteed to please, join the Ramblers at Lyric's Underground on Saturday August 21st.

Led by bassplayer Pete Jeavons, the Swan River Ramblers (SRR) was formed in 2017 and, true to their name, the group performs mainly in a roving, quartet format aboard the Paddlesteamer Decoy as it cruises the Swan River during WA’s warmer months.

After a successful debut performance at Lyric's Underground in May, the Ramblers make their return with an expanded line-up featuring new recruit Pete Evans (drums) alongside regular ramblers Adam Hall (trumpet/vocals), Adrian Galante (clarinet), Ray Walker (guitar) and of course Pete Jeavons (double bass).
