Lo 'Away' Video Launch

Off the back of her debut EP 'Plan For An Independent Future’, Lo returns with her crippling new single, ‘Away’. After the success of her first release ‘Floating’ - receiving attention and airplay from BBC Radio 1, Triple J and Unearthed Radio and being added to multiple Spotify Editorial playlists - it seemed hard to imagine in which direction she would step next. ‘Away’ is a stripped and breathtaking side of Lo that feels uncovered; a bare look at the bones of who she is, and the music she creates. The song feels familiar, as if Lo channeled a feeling that has always existed within us; the sadness it encapsulates the timeless sound of desperation and longing.  This new single is a powerful statement, a bold next move coated in delicacies. She manages to pull back so expertly that we see more of her than we ever have before. Vulnerability so visceral it becomes painful to endure; Lo’s heartache bleeding into our own. This new single is accompanied by a heartrending music video which will be premiered on November 6 at Lyric’s Underground followed by a full band performance, with support from Ghost Care and Zorah.
