Sit back and enjoy the alfresco takeover of Lyric laneway. This open air family friendly event will feature German-style food specials, Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen and roving live music by Oompah! Bavarian Folk meets Aussie Rock! Oompah! are a fun and energetic Bavarian themed band delivering the great German beer hall sound. Traditional Bavarian drinking songs like Ein Prosit, Bayerisches Bierlied and Waldeslust are mixed with classic Aussie rock and pop songs like A Long Way to the Top, Khe Sahn, Land Down Under and Never Tear Us Apart – all in the “oom-pah-pah” style.
