Lyric's Underground Birthday Show!
Time & Location
About the Event
It's been two years since Lyric's Underground opened its doors! Not the most fluent period in history, with the pandemic causing a three-month closure early on in that time, to go with multiple later snap lockdowns. SO many reschedules, but also so many great shows and wonderful bands along the way, including performances from legends like Kim Salmon, Steve Kilbey and Rob Snarski before and between border closures. We even got a WAM Award nomination this year as Most Popular Venue, which feels an amazing achievement so early on in the venue's lifespan. So we're throwing a party - in fact a whole weekender, but this show is all about the Underground. Friday, November 12 will see The Volcanics stamp their rock n' roll authority on the two-year old stage, aided by boogie-blues trio Huge Magnet, swamp rockers Paige McNaught Experience and the 90s indie vibes of Lonesome Dove. PLUS we've got venue faves The Little Lord Street Band popping by for a special early set!
