The first night of the Lyric Lane Jazz Festival! Show #1 - Mike Ellis Quartet (6pm show): Having recently graduated from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Music, Michael Ellis is a jazz guitarist eager to share new and original music mixed with his unique take on songs from the jazz repertoire. Show #2 - Simone Craddock (7.30pm show): Drawing from an eclectic repertoire of lush soundscapes and lyrical storytelling, Simone weaves jazz, blues, latin and folk together with a pinch of pop, a gospel feel and a whole lot of soul.
