About the event
The program features world premiere performances of three new commissions from Australian and international composers, including two-time Aria Award-winning composer James Ledger (WA), Gulli Bjornsson (Iceland), and emerging composer Victor Arul (WA), alongside the Australian premiere of works by Eve Beglarian (USA) and Alison Isadora (NZ).
Performed by award-winning guitarist Jonathan Fitzgerald, Electroluminescence explores the interaction of sound and vision, unconventional performance techniques, and challenges what it means to play the guitar.
Electroluminescence is presented with support from Tura New Music.
