Donna Iverson ‘Stars’ Video Launch

'Are stars in your eyes, or do tears just reflect the light?..' Donna Iverson is back, hot on the heels of her debut EP launch with a beautiful new live film clip from The Ripple Room. Joined by friends Tashi, David Lawrence and Helen Townsend (with a full band), Donna will be premiering 'Stars' at Lyric’s Underground, Maylands on Sunday, 15th November, 2020. **Early doors are at 6pm** Tickets are $10 on the door.

'Stars' is the closing track on 'Hidden Gem', Donna's debut EP which launched at Mojos in August to a huge crowd. Compassionate tenderness in lyric form, the song was beautifully accompanied by the other singers at the launch in a sublime moment.

The video clip, made by heartfelt collaborator Erin Devenish, features a stripped back live performance of 'Stars' filmed at home during COVID, featuring Kate Jensen and Julian Nichols. Helen Townsend is a folksy singer-songwriter whose music is easy on the ears and kind to the heart. Multiple-instrumentalist Tashi will captivate you with her mellifluous voice and accomplished musicality. Dave Lawrence brings a mixed bag of influence to his bluesy set, sure to charm and please in equal measure.
